More of My Favorites

I'd have to admit that teal/turquoise/aqua is probably my favorite color ever.  And I'll also admit to using it frequently.  I've paired it with some unexpected colors like coral, mustard or purple for some really fun pieces.  But I always go back to this - a soft sandy, khaki cord and beads in turquoise, Navajo white and bronze or brass.  The look is timeless.
It's beachy and peaceful.
And never too fussy.

  1. Your work is just beautiful. Glad macrame is not a lost art! I like the color combos, too--especially how you incorporate some white to set off the blue in that first piece.

    1. Thank you - I'm on a mission to Bring Back Macrame:) If hip huggers, mini skirt & bell bottoms can come back (called something different - but same thing!), then macrame deserves another chance:)

Beautiful work. Love your color combo. I'm never seen macrame done quite like that. I really love the last one. Beautiful design. Thank you for sharing.

    1. You're in luck, Lee. I did a simple little tutorial for some macrame bracelets that will get you started on some basic knotting. http://www.knotjustmacrame.com/2012/05/easy-macrame-bracelet-stack.html Give it a try!
