Dragons, Dragons & More Dragons

This is what my work board looked like this weekend.  I've never had this many of the same thing on hand at one time before.  It didn't last long - right after this photo, I started adding clasps to finish them off and then packaged them up.  These guys were headed all over the place - New Hampshire, Oregon, Michigan, Massachusetts, Florida, and even Slovenia.

After I memorialized this work board moment for history, I got sidetracked a bit with the colors and patterns.  Oops.  I'm going to blame this one on Dragon overload.

  3. I love these dragon bracelets! But how do you put the button on? When I try using a button focal I just get a floppy mess. Any suggestions? Thanks

    1. Try knotting your cord underneath the button to hold it in place.

    2. I tried square knots underneath, half hitches underneath and turned out bulky and made the button floppy, nothing seems to fit right..I also tried knotting the cords around the shank of the button didnt work...driving me bonkers. If I could just see a picture of the back of one of yours that might help.

    3. I'm not sure you could see from a photo, but I can take one later... take all your cords and put them through the shank then, working on one side of the shank, divide the cords in half and tie them in a square knot snug up against the shank. Then do the same on the other side of the thank. THEN take the button and turn it "sideways" and take the 1/2 of the strings coming out of one of the square knots and the 1/2 of the strings coming out of the OTHER square knot and tie those in a square knot. Do the same on the other side. Now you basically have 4 square knots surrounding the shank & holding the button securely. Make any sense?

    4. I'll give it a try, but maybe the czech glass button is just to heavy. I will try it with an old vintage button that is not so big. thank you I will let you know if I can do it.
